Here you can define connections you would like to supervise. Mark the appropriate checkboxes, in order to select the option.

 

 

Local Connections...

Local connections are system-internal connections, i.e. that means that no data can be received by external sources and also no data will leave your computer. Using local connections only local applications will transmit data at each other on your system. There is only a low security risk using local connections.

 

 

LAN-Connections...

LAN (local AREA network) is a computer network covering a small local area, like a home or office. A LAN is based on a Peer-to-Peer-network or a client-server-network. Select this option, if you would like to supervise LAN connections with Ashampoo FireWall.
